I’ve never known what you might call a “normal” life. Born with an autoimmune condition, life was anything but ordinary. Yet, I kept pushing through.​

Then, when I was about 13,  something happened that would shift my reality forever. In the middle of a school playground, I had my first out-of-body experience. I watched myself play, detached from my body. At the time, I couldn’t make sense of it, and it was too bizarre to explain, so I chose to ignore it. But it kept happening. And every time, I dismissed it, wondering if it was the result of all the medications I had to take now and then.  Now, looking back, I see that this was likely the beginning of my awakening—a quiet but persistent call from within.

Growing up, I seemed to attract a series of deeply painful and wounding experiences. I wasn’t a victim—more like a warrior facing relentless battles.
And then between 2011-2014, during a phase of many life-altering personal setbacks, I turned deeply inward. But as often happens, the first few miles of inward journey are filled with a confounding darkness.  I found myself questioning everything—who was I really? what is the meaning of life?  are we all just kidding ourselves?   During this time of existential battles, I tiptoed into the world of occult.  Soon, a lid opened and answers to all my existential questions started pouring on me as if from some divine source.  There is no light without dark. And now I was finally tasting the light.  During the years that followed, I largely detached myself and dove head-on into the world of Astrology.   I committed myself to learning for endless hours everyday (and I still continue to research and learn because only a humble learner can be a great teacher).

I learnt many paddhatis (Nadi, Lal Kitab, Parashari, KP) from various teachers whose influence I carry with me.    But beyond everything,  my deepest gratitude goes to Life itself—my greatest teacher.
